To our valued patients and community,

As concerns increase around COVID-19, the health, safety and wellbeing of our patients and employees remain our top priority. At MoleSafe, we are closely monitoring the situation and listening to the recommendations of experts, including guidance from the CDC, and federal/local governments.

The situation is evolving daily and so are our efforts. Here are some steps that we are taking to ensure we continue to operate safely:

Hand Washing is the first line of defense:

  • - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • - If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

Everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • - Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • - Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • - Stay home when you are sick
  • - Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
  • - Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using approved cleaning supplies.

Actively encouraging sick employees to stay home:

  • - Employees who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness are recommended to stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines.
  • - Making sure our sick leave policies are flexible and consistent with public health guidance and that employees are aware of these policies.

Perform routine environmental cleaning:

  • - Routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs

Additional Actions:

  • - Patients will be required to wash their hands with soap/water or hand sanitizer when entering an exam room
  • - Melanographers are disinfecting exam rooms and equipment between patients
  • - Recommending any patients who are feeling ill to reschedule their appointment to a future date

Please feel free to contact our offices if you have any questions or concerns at 1-877-665-3723.
